  • No. Every package is a two-week rental, and that's on purpose. Many other tote rental companies charge more for one week than we charge for two. With our packages, you get twice the time at a better price, so you're not rushing to pack or unpack. If you finish early, you can schedule an earlier pickup whenever you like (early returns aren't refunded).

  • Yes. Every Eco Tote rental package includes one dolly designed for stacking and rolling the totes.

  • No. The form sends Eco Tote a reservation request. Please wait for our response about availability before treating your dates as confirmed.

  • To give you as much flexibility with your moving timeline as possible, we don't charge your card at checkout. Instead, we place an authorization hold for the full price of your package 24 hours before your scheduled delivery. The hold secures your order and makes sure the totes are available for you. It becomes the final charge on delivery day, once your totes arrive at your door.

  • Yes. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled delivery, there's a $50 late-cancellation fee.

  • The manufacturer says each tote can hold up to 100 lbs. The heavy-duty plastic can take more than that without breaking, but we recommend keeping each tote under 50 lbs for two reasons:

    • Safe lifting: 50 lbs is generally the most one person can lift safely without straining their back.

    • Safe stacking: Keeping totes around this weight lets you stack them 4 to 5 high on a moving dolly without the bottom tote buckling.

  • Absolutely. We take hygiene seriously. Before every delivery, each tote is cleaned, sanitized with a disinfectant solution, and fully dried.

  • Each tote has built-in labels made for dry-erase markers, and every rental package comes with one dry-erase marker. Please write only on these labels. Don't write directly on the plastic, and don't use permanent markers, stickers, or packing tape anywhere on the equipment.

  • Yes. Cardboard boxes get soggy and collapse in rain or humidity, but our totes are made from heavy-duty plastic. They protect your belongings from light rain, snow, and everyday weather.

  • Accidents happen. If a tote is structurally damaged or goes missing during your rental, please let us know as soon as possible. A replacement fee will be deducted from your security deposit, as detailed in our rental agreement. The fee is $25 per tote and $60 for a damaged dolly.

Delivery, Pickup & Rental Period

  • We deliver to homes within 30 miles of Evansville and Newburgh, Indiana, which covers most of Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties and nearby communities. To check whether your address is in our area, enter it when you book and we'll tell you right away if it's eligible for free delivery and pickup.

  • The standard package includes a two-week rental. The clock starts on the day we drop the totes off at your door (your requested delivery date), which gives you plenty of time to pack and get through moving day. We pick up the totes two weeks later.

  • Yes! If your closing date slips or unpacking takes longer than expected, extensions are easy. Just contact us within 48 hours of your rental end date and we'll add extra time for a weekly fee.

  • You're welcome to schedule an earlier pickup if you finish unpacking early. However, we don't offer refunds or prorated credits for early returns, as outlined in our rental agreement.

  • Yes. An adult (18 or older) must be present for both.

    • At delivery: An adult checks the tote count and confirms that all equipment, including the moving dolly, has arrived in good condition.

    • At pickup: An adult needs to be there so our team can count the totes, inspect the equipment for damage, and collect the dolly. That way we can confirm on the spot that your full order was returned.

    For safety and liability reasons, our drivers don't enter homes or apartments. We'll drop off and stack your equipment at your front door, garage, porch, or your building's main lobby.

  • No. We provide the totes and the dolly, and the packing and moving are up to you.

  • We only serve moves in and around Evansville and Newburgh, which covers much of Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties. We don't offer out-of-state rentals.

  • Traditional moves create a huge amount of cardboard and packing-tape waste. Our totes are made from durable, high-density plastic and can be reused hundreds of times. That means less deforestation, less manufacturing pollution, and less waste going to landfills.
